BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art where the central theme is the skill of controlling a resisting opponent in ways that force him or her to submit. Control is generally easier on the ground than in a standing position, so much of the technique is centered around taking an opponent to the ground to gain control so the opponent can be rendered harmless.
The benefits of BJJ include increased physical fitness, problem-solving ability, knowledge of one’s mind & body as well as the social benefits of working in a like-minded group as you learn & have fun together.
