Parks & Recreation offers various programs and activities throughout the year for adults. From adult sports leagues like Adult Basketball and Volleyball to specialty fitness classes, 5k races, triathlons and US Master’s Swimming. Check back often for updates on upcoming activities.
Unless otherwise noted, to register for any program listed please complete an Activity Registration Form.This is a digital PDF form used for that is used for general programs, like: Taekwondo for Kids, Twinkle Toes Dance, Swim Lessons, Summer Swim Team, Start Smart Program, etc. This form can be opened in any browser, but works best in Internet Explorer if you are completing the form digitally. If you complete and submit via email, make sure you save the completed form to your computer first and then attach it to an email. If you do not do this, we will receive a blank form. Once the form is received in our office we will call you get your credit card information. You may also print the completed form and mail or drop off the form with payment.
Most programs now offer online registration and payment via PayPal. If a program offers online registration, you’ll see the link next to the program name.

ADULT MIX VOLLEYBALL – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
Play volleyball in a fun, social environment with other adults! All levels welcome! This 10 week “pick-up” league meets from 7-9 PM at Falling Springs on Sunday evenings. The gym is set-up with volleyball nets and when you arrive a coordinator will check you in, put teams together & assign courts. For the next 2 hours, as matches are completed, teams rotate & play other teams. You’ll play tons of volleyball, meet & play with new people & have tons of fun! Learn to dodge, parry & thrust in this exciting, fast growing sport. Participants will learn proper form, technique & etiquette. Ages 7 to adult are welcome! $60/person (new students must also purchase a glove for $15, available from the instructor the first day of class). Classes will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room at Falling Springs Center. There is a maximum of 8 participants per class.
Instruction provided by Bluegrass Fencing Club.
*Classes not meeting a minimum of 5 participants may be cancelled or combined with other classes, regardless of age.

- Adult Open League: Competitive league with good skill level. Participants must be 16 yrs old or older. This league will be played on Sunday afternoons.
- Church League: Players must attend the church they are playing for & church staff must approve the roster. Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.
ADULT PICK-UP PICKLEBALL
Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.
Parks & Recreation offers pick-up pickleball at Falling Springs Center! It’s free for Falling Springs Members and 20-visit card holders and only $6 for daily visitors. Not sure how to play? No problem! We have a group of players that that play on a regular basis and would love to show you the ropes and have you join the fun!

BARRE CLASSES AT FALLING SPRINGS!
Barre is one of the hottest fitness trends today and Falling Springs has it! Barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga & Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Classes may also incorporate light weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.
Classes are included with Gold, Silver and Bronze passes. All others are $12/class.
**The Barre Class schedule is as follows:

Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer a variety of Safety Courses to meet the needs of our community. From professional Lifeguard Training to lay responder courses for coaches, teachers, parents, babysitters and others, Parks & Recreation can prepare you to be prepared in an emergency!

Parks & Recreation offers personal training & private lessons at Falling Springs Center.
