Flag Football

NFL FLAG, powered by USA Football, is the NFL’s official youth flag football program. The program offers boys and girls the fun and excitement of fast-paced football in a non-contact environment. Kids not only have a blast practicing and playing the game, but they learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and commitment — traits that will follow them throughout every aspect of their lives.

Registration is NOW OPEN for Parks & Recreation fall league for the following divisions: Ages 5-7, Ages 8-10 & Ages11-13. Playing age is determined by the player’s age on August 1, 2019. Parks & Recreation reserves right to modify age groups or combine age groups in cases where there are not enough players registered to have a division.

The league will kick-off (pun intended!) with a player combine day on August 26 where coaches and Parks & Rec staff will evaluate players so that teams can be formed as evenly as possible.  Coaches will meet soon after the combine to form teams and then parents will be contacted by his or her child’s coach with team information, including team name, coaches contact information, followed by two weeks of practice.  Games will be begin around week three. The regular season generally consists of one practice and one or two games per week. For 2019, games and practice days are projected to be Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Registration includes an NFL reversible jersey and a flag belt. There is a link below to the official NFL Flag Football rules (the link goes to the NFL Flag Football website).  Please note that Parks & Recreation reserves the right to modify rules as needed for our league.

We hope to see you on the field this fall!
