NFL FLAG FOOTBALL- REGISTRATION OPEN!
NFL FLAG, powered by USA Football, is the NFL’s official youth flag football program. The program offers boys and girls the fun and excitement of fast-paced football in a non-contact environment. Kids not only have a blast practicing and playing the game, but they learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and commitment — traits that will follow them throughout their lives.
Registration is OPEN NOW for Parks & Recreation fall league for the following divisions:
- Grades K-2 *
- Grades 3-5*
- Middle School League*
*Playing age is determined by the player’s grade for upcoming/current school year. Parks & Rec reserves right to modify or combine age groups in cases where there are not enough players registered to have a division.
The league will kick-off (pun intended!) with player combine days AUGUST 29 & AUGUST 31 (groups will be divided by age) where coaches and Parks & Rec staff will evaluate players so that teams can be formed as evenly as possible (players will only attend one combine date). Coaches will meet soon after the combine to form teams, after which they will contact parent’s with their child’s team information (team name, coach’s contact information, etc). Once formed, teams will practice twice a week for two weeks. Beginning the third week, teams will practice once a week and have one or two games per week. For 2023, games are projected to be on Saturday mornings and/or Sunday afternoons with practices held during the week (determined by coach’s availability).
