Welcome to the General Youth Programs Page! This is where you’ll find information on activities like Taekwondo for Kids, School Break Camps, Summer Sunshine Camp. All youth programs can be found on this page or our Youth Sports Page, so be sure to check both for updates on all our programs for youth!
Unless otherwise noted, to register for any program listed please complete an Activity Registration Form. This is a digital PDF form used for that is used for general programs, like: Sports Camps, Leagues, Start Smart, etc. This form can be opened in any browser, but works best in Internet Explorer if you are completing the form digitally. If you complete and submit via email, make sure you save the completed form to your computer first and then attach it to an email. If you do not do this, we will receive a blank form. Once the form is received in our office we will call you get your credit card information. You may also print the completed form and mail or drop off the form with payment.
Most programs now offer online registration and payment via PayPal! If a program offers online registration, you’ll see the link next to the program name.

SUNSHINE CAMP – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
If you’re looking for a fun, safe place for your 5-12 year old to spend the summer, Sunshine Camp is the place to be! Campers stay active throughout the day, utilizing all of the facilities located throughout the Woodford County Park, including the tennis courts, cross country trail, pavilions and ball fields, as well as the gymnasium and pools at Falling Springs Center! Campers will swim daily in addition to enjoying free play and organized games, arts and crafts, field trips and much more!
Camp runs May 29 through August 8 and daily & weekly rates are available along with multi-child discounts. Space is limited to 225 campers, so register now to insure your child a spot at Sunshine Camp this summer!
Please click HERE to register and pay the $35 non-refundable deposit online. You may also complete the Sunshine Camp Registration Packet by hand and return it, along with payment, to the Parks & Recreation Department offices located in Falling Springs Center. Please note that a separate form must be completed for each camper.

TAEKWONDO FOR KIDS – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
Taekwondo builds self-esteem, mental discipline, a strong body & more! Classes meet for 6 weeks on the days listed in the table below. A uniform required for new students ($40, payable to Martial Arts USA the first day of class). Register soon, space is limited! Contact Rainey with questions.

SPRING BREAK ESCAPE – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
With games, swimming, crafts & fun galore, Parks & Rec is the place to spend Spring Break! Open to boys & girls ages 5-11, camp runs April 2-6 from 7 AM-6 PM. $30/day per child or $125 for the week (10% discount for each additional family member). Breakfast & a snack are provided each day and lunch will be provided on Friday. Campers should wear tennis shoes & bring a swimsuit, towel & lunch. PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT

LIFEGUARD, CPR, FIRST AID & COACHES TRAINING COURSES
You never know when an emergency will arise. Maybe it will be someone you know, maybe it’s a stranger, but when that time comes, will you know what to do?
Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer a variety of Safety Courses to meet the needs of our community. From professional Lifeguard Training to lay responder courses for coaches, teachers, parents, babysitters and others, Parks & Recreation can prepare you to be prepared in an emergency!

- Wilderness First Aid (Scheduled upon request/demand)

PERSONAL TRAINING & PRIVATE LESSONS
Parks & Recreation offers personal training & private lessons at Falling Springs Center. Private lessons options include private swim lessons, personal aquatic coaching, basketball instruction and tennis lessons. Click here for a Private Lessons Brochure.
