Welcome to the General Youth Programs Page! This is where you’ll find information on activities like Taekwondo for Kids, School Break Camps, Summer Sunshine Camp. All youth programs can be found on this page or our Youth Sports Page, so be sure to check both for updates on all our programs for youth!
Unless otherwise noted, to register for any program listed please complete an Activity Registration Form. This is a digital PDF form used for that is used for general programs, like: Sports Camps, Leagues, Start Smart, etc. This form can be opened in any browser, but works best in Internet Explorer if you are completing the form digitally. If you complete and submit via email, make sure you save the completed form to your computer first and then attach it to an email. If you do not do this, we will receive a blank form. Once the form is received in our office we will call you get your credit card information. You may also print the completed form and mail or drop off the form with payment.
Most programs now offer online registration and payment via PayPal! If a program offers online registration, you’ll see the link next to the program name.

WINTER BREAK CAMP – CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
With games, swimming, crafts & fun galore, Parks & Rec is the place to spend Winter Break! Open to boys & girls ages 5-11, camp runs December 20-21, 26-28 and January 2 from 7 AM-6 PM. Camp fees are as follows (per child): $30 per day or $25 per day if you register for more than one day at a time (there is a 10% discount for each additional family member). Breakfast & snack are included each day. Campers should wear tennis shoes & bring a swimsuit, towel & lunch daily. Contact Camp Director Aaron Stover for more info. *Please note that camp will be cancelled on January 2 if we do not have a minimum of 10 registered campers by December 27.

Taekwondo builds self-esteem, mental discipline, a strong body & more! Classes meet for 6 weeks on the days listed in the table below. A uniform required for new students ($40, payable to Martial Arts USA the first day of class). Register soon, space is limited! Contact Rainey with questions.

Enjoy an evening out while the kids have a blast! Open to boys & girls ages 5-11. Bring a swimsuit, towel and gym shoes, we’ll provide the food and fun! 6-10:30 PM. $15/child (includes dinner & snack), register for all 3 dates and get $10 off! LIFEGUARD, CPR, FIRST AID & COACHES TRAINING COURSES
You never know when an emergency will arise. Maybe it will be someone you know, maybe it’s a stranger, but when that time comes, will you know what to do?
Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer a variety of Safety Courses to meet the needs of our community. From professional Lifeguard Training to lay responder courses for coaches, teachers, parents, babysitters and others, Parks & Recreation can prepare you to be prepared in an emergency!
- Lifeguard Certification Course (must be 15 years old by the last day of class). Click here for details.

- First Aid / CPR / AED (Ages 15 & up)
- Wilderness First Aid (Scheduled upon request/demand)

PERSONAL TRAINING & PRIVATE LESSONS
Parks & Recreation offers personal training & private lessons at Falling Springs Center. Private lessons options include private swim lessons, personal aquatic coaching, basketball instruction and tennis lessons. Click here for a Private Lessons Brochure.
