17th Annual Kidz Triathlon
The Falling Springs Kidz Triathlon was established in 2006 and has run continuously in late August to early September every year (except for the 2020 Pandemic year). There are race divisions for 5-8 and 9-14 year olds and includes age appropriate swim, bike and run legs for each race. It’s the coolest event of the year and we hope you’ll be part of it!
This year’s race is set for Saturday, September 9 at Woodford County Park in Versailles, KY. The swim leg for each race is held at the indoor pool at Falling Springs Center. The bike portion is held on the bike trail between Falling Springs Center and Clifton Road (for the 5-8 year olds) and from Falling Springs Center, through the ball fields and along the bike path to Woodford County Middle School and back (for the 9-14 year olds). The run leg for both races is held on the Cross Country Course at Woodford County Park.

You may register in one of two ways:

- In person: Submit an entry form and payment at Falling Springs Center

PACKET PICK-UP
Race packets may be picked up at Falling Springs Center on Friday, September 8 between 10 AM and 5 PM or on Saturday morning prior to race time. Packets must be picked up no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of each race.
CHAPERONES
- Participants in the 5-8 year old race may be assisted in the transition area by ONE parent to help with shoes, helmets, etc.
- Participants in the 9-14 yr old division may not receive assistance in the transition area.
- Participants may not be accompanied during swim or bike segments but may be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the run course, however they may not be aided or carried in any way.
IT’S ABOUT THE FUN!
Remember, this event is for FUN!! It isn’t about the competition but instead about encouraging healthy lifestyles and positive activities. We want to provide an opportunity for kids to be active, to challenge themselves and have a fun experience. Please help us as we strive to meet this goal!

* See below for step by step instructions when utilizing the registration system for the first time.
IMPORTANT:
If you have had any transactions with or department in the past 9 years (race registrations, activity registrations, pass memberships or reservations) you already have an account with us. If you are logging for the first time, the ONLY log in credentials that will work is your Household ID number, which is your username and password (explained below). The Password Reset option WILL NOT WORK until you’ve logged in using your Household ID and Password and then reset them in your account settings. If you do not know your household ID number, you can call us at 859.873.5948 or send an email to awaits@vwcparksrec.com and we can give it to you.
WebTrac Instructions for First Time Log-ins
- Click Log-in and enter your log-in credentials.
- If you have had any transactions with Parks & Recreation in the past 7 years, you should have an account in our system. If this is the case and it is your first-time logging into WebTrac:
- Your User Name & Password is your Household ID number for both fields.
- You can find your Household ID on any receipt from a previous transaction with Parks & Recreation. (If you do not have an old receipt, please contact us at 859.873.5948 and we can give you this information.)
- If you have had any transactions with Parks & Recreation in the past 7 years, you should have an account in our system. If this is the case and it is your first-time logging into WebTrac:
- If you are new to Parks & Recreation or have not had ANY transactions with us within the past 7 years, please click “If you’re a brand-new patron with us, please click here to register for a new account,” and set up an account with your household information.
- Once you are logged in for the first time, please click on “My Account” and then click on “Account Settings” under the “UPDATE” column to update your username and password.
- Enter your new username where it says “New Log-in” and then re-enter it on the line that reads “Re-Type Login”
- Please set your new Password where indicated.
- If you would like to change your Primary email address, you can do so in the bottom section where it says, “Change your Email”.
- Click submit to save changes.
- Next, please click on My Account again and then click on Household & Member.
- Please verify and make any changes to your address, phone numbers and other items as necessary.
- Make sure to click YES to “Authorize Contacts Via Email.” If you don’t, you won’t receive email updates regarding the race.
- Please makes sure your family member and emergency contact information are up to date.
- Once you have finished verifying your household info, please click save.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you’re ready to register! Go to “SEARCH” and then “ACTIVITY SELECTION” to find the event you are looking for. Click HERE for instructions if you have trouble registering or call our offices at 859.873.5948.
